About this deal

The 97-key layout of the keyboard might not be a true full-size keyboard (it doesn't have a PrntScrn button, for example), and that may be a deal breaker for some folks who might insist on having every key. For me, the slightly more compact design of the Epomaker RT100 was very nice, as it didn't take up a lot of space, and I still had all the keys I wanted. Epomaker says the RT100 is a "gasket-mount mechanical keyboard" that includes a "Poron sandwich layer" along with a "slow-rebound bottom case foam". This is promoted by the company as a way to give a smooth experience while pressing the keys. In practice, I found this to be a true statement. The keys are very easy to press down for things like simple typing or for playing in games. While they may not have quite the tactile feel of other mechanical keyboards, I found the experience to be very nice once you got used it it, which didn't take very long. Hardcore PC users, and the subset of hardcore PC gamers, know that keyboards are not all the same. A niche company called Epomaker has been creating a family of mechanical keyboards with some nice features for both ordinary use as well as playing Starfield or Call of Duty games. The Mini TV connects to the keyboard via a USB-C port in special indent that also doubles as a cavity to store the 2.4Ghz wireless dongle. This is useful when you are traveling and do not want to misplace the wireless USB, or you can cover up the indent if you do not like to use the Mini TV at all.

As for auction listings, the 100-cc motorcycle is currently selling for almost the same value as its original list price. However, expect used bikes to have “okay” cosmetics at best, with slight rust formation on the frame and engine and some missing parts.

Engine and Transmission

A 5-speed constant mesh return system (left-foot operated) and a wet, multi-disc clutch assembly deliver power to the wheels. As for spark ignition, it employs an NGK BR7ES plug with an electrode gap of 0.7–0.8 mm (0.028–0.031 inch) and a torque spec of 25 Nm (2.5 m-Kg). Tires & Brakes The Epomaker RT100 comes with the keyboard, a two-in-one keycap and switch puller, and the main star of the show, a matching retro off-white USB-C cable. The cable is mostly for aesthetics, but it feels high quality with a rubber-coating on the wire, and a plastic gray plate covering the ends of the cable. It looks stylish and matches the keyboard quite well, and it also shows that Epomaker has really focused on the style quotient when it comes to the RT100. Epomaker RT100 - Design, Features and Keycaps The Yamaha RT100 is an Enduro-styled two-wheeler produced from 1990 to 2000. It has a 97cc power mill, stark, rugged styling, and robust suspension (paired with an almost-8-inch ground clearance), and it is a great bike for beginners and off-road enthusiasts. The RT 100 — A Short-Lived Off-Road Classic Our unit came with the Epomaker Sea Salt Silent switches, which are linear and come pre-lubed from the factory. The material consists of a POM stem, polycarbonate top and nylon bottom housing. The switches themselves look aesthetically pleasing with a yellow box-style top, a transparent case and light blue (sea colored?) bottom case.

The payload limit is unspecified in the owner’s manual. But if based on average values of 150—200 Kg (330—440 lbs.) for same-class thumpers, then we can estimate its GVWR to be around 229 Kg (505 lbs.) — inclusive of the bike’s curb weight, full tank and fluids, cargo, and accessories. Exterior Note: I f the Driver is in Chinese, you can change the language here: ①→②→ Choose English. (Please select English or Chinese, and not auto)Above the volume knob are two switches, one to change the compatibility from Windows to Mac, and the other is to turn on the wireless functionality. The keyboard supports USB-C, 2.4Ghz wireless, and Bluetooth connectivity, which can be paired with up to 3 devices by using the FN + 1/2/3 keys. Conventional front telescopic forks and a rear swingarm are enclosed in a double-cradle frame design. Each unit has oil-damped coil springs (with the rear having spring preload adjustability) and a respective wheel travel of 4.3 inches (110 mm) and 3.1 inches (80 mm). As mentioned before, the Epomaker RT100 features three modes of connectivity - wired via USB-C, Bluetooth (with up to 3 profiles), and 2.4Ghz wireless. The 2.4Ghz wireless performs reasonably well - there is no discernible lag or input latency when typing or gaming, and it wakes up reasonably fast from sleep mode after a period of inactivity. Bluetooth works similarly well, and I had no problems connecting and shifting between my iPhone and iPad by using the FN key combination. If silent switches aren’t your type, then you can get the RT100 with a variety of other switches, namely the Epomaker Wisteria (linear), Epomaker Flamingo (linear), Epomaker Budgerigar (tactile), and Gateron Pro Yellow (linear), all of which come pre-lubed from the factory. Epomaker claims that the RT100 is “gasket-mounted”, however revealing the internals suggest otherwise. Sure, the keyboard does use layers of foam around the bottom case to “host” the keyboard, but this is not how a traditional gasket mount should look or perform like. Instead of adding gasket foam on the switch plate itself, Epomaker has added the foam on the bottom case, on which the polycarbonate plate lies down upon. As a result, there is little to no flex on the plate, and while the typing experience is still quite pleasant, there is no ‘bounce’ that usually comes with a well-implemented gasket mounting system. Yamaha is globally recognized as a powerhouse in various automotive sectors. It remains committed to its mission of “Kando,” consistently developing products and services that enhance people’s lives. Size

The MDA profile took me a while to get used to, however, especially for someone who has mostly used Cherry/OEM profile keycaps before. There is a bit of height difference between the different rows of keys, but they are not as prominent as the Cherry profile, and are mostly flat which confused my muscle memory initially. Of course, you can always replace the keycaps with third-party ones but it would rob the keyboard out of its true essence and I would recommend against that. The first thing you might notice right off the bat is the keyboard's retro look. It definitely looks like a keyboard that old folks like me bought for personal computers in the late 1980s or 1990s. Again, the look is not flashy but it does conjure up some nostalgic feelings. While the Mini TV is cute and really adds to the overall appeal of the keyboard (it looks like a CRT!), I also wish it was more useful and customizable. Besides changing the gif, the rest of the information on the screen cannot be changed at all. I would have loved for the software to allow me to display custom information like GPU and CPU Temp, or some custom text to really personalize the screen to my liking. As such, besides the style quotient, the Mini TV is not exactly useful, especially since displaying the weather and CPU temp requires one to give the Epomaker software admin access to work - which is not something I am willing to do. Epomaker RT100 - Ease of Access and Disassembly Known for its aggressive design, impressive handling, and rider-friendly mannerisms, the Yamaha RT100 was many off-roader’s first motorbike. It may not have insane performance figures and styling. However, a challenging yet slightly forgiving nature was all it required to get nouveau and recreational riders hooked — as you will soon find out in this comprehensive guide. Recommended cold- tire pressure for both knobbies is 125 kPa (1.25 kgf/cm2, 18 psi) and is suitable for off-road riding. As for brakes, right-hand/foot-operated drums complete its tire-and-wheel assembly. Suspension

The dirt bike has an air-cooled, forward-inclined, single-cylinder 2-stroke engine. This power mill has a 52 × 45.6 mm (2.047 × 1.795 inches) bore-stroke ratio, a 6.7:1 compression ratio, and a piston-controlled intake and exhaust valve design. Engine displacement is 97 cm3 (5.9 in3), delivered by a Mikuni VM22SS carb. Despite its short-travel suspension layout, tight curves and hairpin bends can be easily executed with the bike’s 1,190-mm/46.8-inch wheelbase, 5.9-foot turning radius, and 200-mm/7.9-inch ground clearance. Dimensions The keycaps on the keyboard are made of "durable and non-greasy PBT" according to Epomaker, and they feel smooth to press on. The company says the letters and other tests printed on the keys use dye sublimation, and they should last for a long time, but obviously, I was unable to really review this particular feature in the short time I used the keyboard. However, that feature is there if you want that on your keycaps. It has a Yamaha Autolube lubrication system — a proprietary oil injection system that utilizes a mechanical oil pump and is ECU-controlled. Required engine oil is 1 L of SAE 10W-30 Yamalube 2-cycle oil or its equivalent, with a minimum SJ API grade, meeting JASO T903 MA standards (originally JASO FC or ISO EG-C, EG-D grades). Coming to the polycarbonate switch plate, I was surprised to see flex cuts all around the plate. Flex cuts are usually introduced to make the plate even more flexible (hence the name), however this is kind of wasted by the poor gasket mount system. The Epomaker RT100 doesn’t support QMK/VIA software integration, which is a bit disappointing. Instead, it uses Epomaker’s own driver software which for all intents and purposes works well enough. It isn’t the fastest and the most intuitive software on the market, but unlike other softwares, it doesn’t come with bloatware and doesn’t crash, and that’s good enough in my books.
